Mizu Japanese Cuisine - West Windsor Township: Reviews & Ratings
Best sushi and Japanese cuisine in Princeton area. Every food is good at taste.
Smaller restaurant that apparently caters to the residents of the numerous developments along Clarksville Rd. It seems Mizu is a family operation. Extensive menu. Please bear in mind that Mizu is a strictly Japanese cuisine restaurant. You are not going to find there any boneless ribs, General Tso chicken, Lo Mein, etc. Mizu doesn't include in their menu any of the Chinese or Thai specialties that many area's sushi restaurants do. Good food featuring fresh ingredients. Very neatly made rolls. We really liked our Futo Maki roll.
We really enjoyed our Special Rolls at Mizu Japanese Cuisine. 4 rolls for the three of us was plenty of food! We had Crazy Roll, Jazz Roll, Dynamite Roll, and Lava Roll. Their Seaweed Salad was a great beginning to our feast. The restaurant is plain and simple, nothing fancy. The food makes it worth going back to.
My take-out experience never disappoints. Mizu Roll is the most special but everything else is always freshly made and delicious!
Came here for sushi, and was pleasantly surprised. The toro was very generous and well priced, and the fish in general were fresh and delicious. They gave salmon belly for salmon sashimi - will definitely be back!
Have been here for lunch before. Don’t want to cook tonight. So ordered sushi and sashimi! $55 party tray, 3 special rolls and 4 regular rolls, your choice!!! Good deal! We ordered sumo roll, caterpillar roll, fantastic roll as special rolls. Yellowtail special roll, Alaska roll, crunchy roll and eel avocado roll as regular rolls. It was very good especially in this price. We definitely will order it again in the future. Sashimi Ume was good too. Not the best but ‘normal’ good! They asked us to pay on the phone. And when we arrived to pick up, it was already placed on the pick up table after the first door. So no contact with people, And they don’t even try to ask for tips for take out like other restaurants nowadays. Great!
Delicious sushi. Generous portions of lunch bento box. Comes with salad, miso soup, shrimp shumai, 6 pieces of California roll along with main entree. Beef negemaki and teriyaki salmon were very tasty. The beef, however, was somewhat overcooked. Ninja roll and Rock and roll were delicious.
